Game description

Ice Wolf 2 is a 6 column, 3-7 rows video slot game.

The game grid consists of three reel sections.

The topmost reel section is one row referred to as the feature row. The feature row is a section with feature symbols and empty symbols.

Beneath the feature row there is a three row reel section referred to as the ice section.

Beneath the ice section there is a three row reel section referred to as the main section.

Beneath the main section there is a Wolf Den feature section.

When a new game round starts, all symbol positions in the feature row and the ice section are covered by ice.

Symbols covered by ice are inactive and do not participate in wins or otherwise impact the game.

Ice is cleared when symbols beneath the ice are contributing to a win or by triggering wolf features.

The game has all ways to win - between 729 and 100,842 ways depending on the amount of ice remaining. This accounts for the leftmost cell of the feature row only having non paying feature symbols.

Key game features include respins, expanding grid, feature row, wilds, sticky wilds, multipliers, "Ice Wolf" feature, "Howling Wolf" feature, "Golden Wolf" feature, and a Bonus game that unlocks the "Wolf Den" feature.

Game view

Bet amount and balance are always displayed in the info bar at the bottom of the game view in the currency that the player has chosen. This information is always available throughout the gaming session. Winnings are displayed in the selected currency in the middle of the info bar at the bottom of the game view when playing in landscape mode, and at the top of the game view when playing in portrait mode.

Bonus game

One Bonus symbol cleared of ice at the end of Normal mode triggers the Bonus game with Wolf Spins. The state of the ice persists between Wolf Spins.

After the reels stop, a pre-evaluation detects winning combinations considering only the symbols currently active. The spin is over when no winning combinations are found and no respins are awarded.

If one or more winning combinations are found during pre-evaluation, the winning symbols clear a number of ice blocks on their respective columns. The amount of ice cleared corresponds to the number of winning symbols, column by column.

When ice has been cleared after pre-evaluation, the win evaluation is executed. The win evaluation will consider every active symbol, but not trigger further clearing of ice.

Each evaluation containing a win triggers a respin of all reels after the payout. Active Ice Wolf symbols will trigger the Ice Wolf feature.

A game round ends once there are no more winning combinations or Ice Wolves that award respins, at the end of Bonus mode, or when the win cap is reached.

Cleared ice does not reappear until the next game round.

Wild symbols (with a silver backplate and golden text) and Golden Wild symbols (with a golden backplate and silver text) substitute for any paying symbol. Golden Wild symbols may land with a multiplier of x2, x3, or x5.

Both kinds of Wild symbols have their multiplier increased whenever affected by a wolf feature. Wild multipliers are always increased in increments of 1.

A Wild symbol without an existing multiplier affected by a wolf feature will get an x2 multiplier.

The Wild symbol appears on columns 2-6, on all reel sections.

The Golden Wild symbol appears on columns 3-6, on all reel sections except the feature row.

Wild symbols blocked by ice will remain sticky until the ice is cleared, or the start of a new game round.

Golden Wild symbols are sticky and only spin out at the start of a new game round.

The feature row may contain sticky symbols that persist between respins, only spinning out at the start of Bonus mode, between Wolf Spins during Bonus mode, and between game rounds.

Wild symbols in the feature row are sticky between respins until they have contributed to a win.

Multiplier symbols in the feature row are sticky between respins.

The Bonus and '+1 Spin' symbols remain sticky between respins. They both trigger once there are no more respins and spin out in the following Bonus game Wolf Spin.

At the start of Bonus mode, and between Wolf Spins during Bonus mode, only Golden Wild and Wild symbols covered by ice do not spin out.

The Howling Wolf appears on columns 2-6, on the main section.

Before win evaluation, the Howling Wolf turns to the left or right, howls, and clears all ice in a 90° cone shaped area (45° up and 45° down) originating from the Howling Wolf symbol position. Any Wild symbols inside the cone shaped area get an increased multiplier.

After howling, before the pre-evaluation, the Howling Wolf symbol is converted into a Wild symbol.

The Ice Wolf symbol appears on columns 2-6, on the main section and on the ice section.

Ice Wolf symbols may also appear from the Wolf Den in Bonus mode.

The Ice Wolf feature triggers if an Ice Wolf symbol is active at the end of a spin, awarding an Ice Wolf respin, keeping all active Ice Wolf symbols sticky.

During the Ice Wolf respin, before the reels stop, a wolf runs along each column with an active Ice Wolf symbol, clearing all ice in the affected columns.

All symbols from the active Ice Wolf symbol position and up, in the main section and the ice section, are converted into Wild symbols.

Wild symbols that are passed by the running wolf, including Wild symbols in the feature row, get an increased multiplier.

The Golden Wolf appears on columns 2-5 in the feature row.

Landing a Golden Wolf symbol will always trigger the Golden Wolf feature prior to win evaluation. The Golden Wolf feature affects three columns: the column with the Golden Wolf symbol and those immediately adjacent.

During the Golden Wolf feature, a wolf runs along each affected column from the feature row and downwards, clearing all ice in the affected columns. All symbols below the Golden Wolf symbol position are converted into Wild symbols.

Wild symbols left by the Golden Wolf may have an initial multiplier of x2, x3, or x5.

Any passed symbols (on all three affected columns) that are already Wild symbols get an increased multiplier.

Multiplier symbols only appear in the feature row.

Active Multiplier symbols multiply all wins with their displayed value regardless of their positions.

Possible values of Multiplier symbols are x2, x3, x5, x10, and x50.

Multiplier symbols cannot themselves create or be part of winning combinations.

The total multiplier of a win is the sum of the values of all active Multiplier symbols, plus the sum of the values of all multiplier Wild symbols in the winning combination.

The Bonus symbol only appears in the feature row in Normal mode.

One active Bonus symbol at the end of Normal mode triggers the Bonus game with Wolf Spins.

The Bonus game is triggered once there are no respins left.

Only one instance of the Bonus symbol can land during a game round.

5 Wolf Spins are awarded at the start of the Bonus game.

The '+1 Spin' symbol only appears in Bonus mode, and only in the feature row.

Each active '+1 Spin' symbol at the end of a Wolf Spin awards an additional Wolf Spin.

Entering Bonus mode unlocks the Wolf Den feature section beneath the reel sections.

Each spin in Bonus mode may activate the Wolf Den feature.

The Wolf Den feature may activate up to 4 Ice Wolf symbols in the Wolf Den on columns 2-5, triggering immediately after the reels have stopped.

During the Wolf Den feature, wolves run along each column with an active Ice Wolf symbol in the Wolf Den, clearing all ice in the affected columns.

All symbols from the active Ice Wolf symbol position and up, in the main section and the ice section, are converted into Wild symbols.

Wild symbols that are passed by the running wolf, including Wild symbols in the feature row, get an increased multiplier.

Active Ice Wolf symbols in the Wolf Den do not award respins.

Wins begin with the first leftmost column and only pay from left to right on consecutive columns. No gaps between the columns are allowed. Only the longest payline per active payline is paid out. An active payline is defined as the longest winning symbol combination.

No bets can be changed during an ongoing game round.

A game round is immediately ended when the win cap is reached, and the wins collected so far will be paid out.

The theoretical payout (RTP) is 94.01%.

The game will be capped at 10 000x the placed bet.

In the event of malfunction all bets and wins are void.

X-iter rules

The X-iter feature offers several different game modes.

SUPER BONUS

The X-iter features can only be activated in the base game.
